Donna and Mike had a home buyer test their home for radon and it came back over the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L. We were able to reduce the levels before their closing date so the clients could move in without subjecting their family to dangerous levels of radon.
Travis from Grayson found Georgia Healthy Homes through the web after his home tested higher than the EPA's recommended 4pCi/L. He was getting ready to sell his home and didn't want high radon readings to ruin his real estate transaction.
After reaching out, Craig Shane visited the Grayson home to determine the best possible route to mitigate Travis' home. Craig made sure to educate Travis on his options for mitigation and walked him through the whole installation process. With a plan in place, Zach Tully and Trent Jones were dispatched to install an Eagle Fan to remove Travis' dangerous radon levels out of his home.
With Travis' radon levels now at an acceptable level, he has one less worry when he puts his home up for sale. If you are looking to sell your home and worry that high radon levels will ruin the deal, call Georgia Healthy Homes today!

Charlene was selling her home and the buyers had a radon test completed during their due diligence period. The results were 8.4 pCi/L and they terminated their contract.
We never recommend terminating a real estate contract over elevated levels of radon. Radon can be easily mitigated to a normal level of exposure and a sub-slab depressurization system will improve the indoor air quality of a home. A home with a radon mitigation system has better indoor air quality, and lower risk of mold in the basement.
We were able to install a mitigation system and reduce the levels below 2.0 pCi/L.
If you are selling your home and potential buyers discover dangerous levels of radon in your home, call Georgia Healthy Homes and we will provide you a fast solution to save your transaction.
