Numbers alone show the effectiveness of the service provided. We tested our private well water for Radon through the UGA Lab. Our initial results were 11,500 PCi/L. Anything over 4,000 PCi/L is considerer a significant health risk. I contacted GA RADON defense for a quote to mitigate our water and was provided very professional consideration, service, and reasonable pricing for the issue our family was facing. After our Water mitigation system was installed I retested the water with the UGA LAB and our Radon is now under 100 PCi/L. We later decided to have an air mitigation system installed and within the first day our air levels were below 0.5 PCi/L. Before the system was installed the air was often above 4 PCi and during rainy days going up to 29 PCi. The team that installed our systems was courteous and displayed knowledge of all areas of our home from the slab system, to the AC, system, to the electrical system. Georgia Healthy Homes is the only phone call you to need to make. From the first phone conversation, to the evaluation, to the installation itself - we were super impressed with this company! They are so knowledgeable about all things having to do with radon and how it affects the air quality in homes. Casey was our first point of contact, and he was so kind and promptly followed up with the evaluation and installation appointments. We could tell just from that phone call that this was where we needed to be! During our evaluation, Mike was also so kind. He immediately helped alleviate some of our nerves about the levels we had already tested on our own and found throughout our home. He thoroughly inspected our home from top to bottom to make sure he saw the whole picture of what was needed.
