The homeowner had a finished basement and relatively low radon levels. They wanted to achieve an improvement in indoor air quality, including the ability to filter out radon decay products, without having a radon mitigation system installed in a finished living area.

Solution

A Breathe EZ Air Cleaner is an excellent, noninvasive way to remove radon decay products and other particles from the air-- even viruses. It filters particles as small as 0.007 microns and uses an electrical charge to capture them. A Breathe EZ Air Cleaner creates minimal airflow resistance in contrast to a HEPA filter, so the Breathe EZ has less impact on HVAC efficiency. Our technicians can install a Breathe EZ Air Cleaner in the same slot as as regular passive filter, hardwired into the HVAC control board.
