Challenge

This homeowner had radon levels around 12 pCi/L, well above the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L.

Solution

Our experienced technician did a beautiful job putting in an extraction point in a discreet corner of the basement, ventilated to the exterior of the home through a fan system. Our systems are designed to pull radon gas out from underneath the foundation before it has a chance to enter the home, resulting in healthier indoor air quality!

This is the extraction point in the basement. Our technician excavated material from beneath the slab, sealed cracks around the foundation, and conducted Pressure Field Extension (PFE) testing to confirm adequate suction to pull the radon out.

This is the fan and ventilation system on the outside of the home. The radon is exhausted above the roof line without passing through the home.
